Happy but sad...

Am at the airport right now, waiting for my flight at 9.20pm. Obvious feeling would be happy to see my family. But very sad indeed to leave my friends in Singapore. They've been nice to me and special thanks to SHARON for buying me the Old Chang Kee fish ball and karipap just now. You saved me, yet, another time from starvation! (Benjamin, jangan jealous! Your TL is feeding me all the time!). It's 8.05pm, and I'm off to sit quietly somewhere. So, if any of my Singapore friends are reading; one of the best time I've had in 'office environment'. Don't forget to email me and call me if you are in KL!!!! To my dudes and dudetes in KL; I'll be home soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

... and this little piggy went shopping....

Day: Saturday Venue: Orchard Road I had company on Saturday. Cat came to visit. Our original plan was to go to the zoo, but once again, nature was against us. What have I done to deserve such treatment from mother nature? I recycle. I love animals. I'm an environmentalist!!!! And since we didn't have a plan B, we ended up walking without purpose (yet another LOSER story). I was so tired couldn't even walk any further than Paragon. So we decided to go back. Story won't be complete without at least one loser incident. We waited for a cab, none stop for us. So we decided to take MRT. And along the walk to MRT station, 3 buses going directly back to the hotel passed by..... Day: Sunday Venue: Bugis After the long walk on Saturday, Cat and I slept and slept and slept until the construction workers woke us up with all the noises... Damn those people! But if not, Cat would've missed her bus back... Heh... After lunch @ Raffles Hospital food court, we went to Bugis. Cat t

Smile!

Harajuku Girl Halo! Heehee.... Hahahahah! I miss her... SobSobSob...

Rain, rain go away...

For the past 2 days, every morning it rained here in Singapore. I hope tomorrow I could sleep in with the same weather. If it doesn't rain tomorrow, I'm pretty sure mother nature is against me! Or maybe just Janice, getting angry at some merchant... Or Catherine, getting too excited for her trip to see dugong with me... Or our virgin sacrifice didn't work... Sigh.... To Abu: I love you! To Kady: HUWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!! To Janice: wish you were here... To Cat: see you 2moro To Shanky: shoes in Takashimaya are DAMN expensive To Nina/Ainil/Widie/Huda: Waddup wif our conference yesterday? To Boo: stop sending me cute kitty and puppy pictures. I haven't touch any cats since I arrived because they don't have stray cats here.. I believe this is the longest period, me not touching any cats. Even in Tokyo I get to play wif cats!!!!!! To Johana: mung punya Dawson Creek takdok! To Marina: me and Cat gonna go see dugong and feed tigers at nite! To all: Miss you guys... C

The Office

So this is what the whole 21st Floor @ The Concourse looks like. The office settings are cool and they have excellent view up here. This is my temporary workstation. The chair is super comfortable (like our 'new red chair' in KL and worstation is very spacious). Unfortunately (maybe not), they are moving out from The Concourse next year. Dunno where they are moving into. This is the view from my workstation. Cool huh? See the ferris wheel? I feel like I'm back in Tokyo. I envy them for this... They have an espresso machine in the pantry. Sigh.... Nearer picture of the ferris wheel taken on the way from airport to hotel. I'll post up more pictures of the team later this week.... Coming up: The ever so famous Richard and Teo! p/s: I miss you people back in Auths! p/s: I miss Abu.. p/s: Above all, I miss my kid... HUWAAAAAAA!!!!!

Singapore, here I come!

Here's me... Still dunno what to pack for my very first business trip ever! Yeap... Company finally sending me to Singapore for training. Excited, of course but not really happy as will be spending 9 days without sleeping partners... That's right... My kid and hubby not coming with me (like duh! kerja la!). So sad... So sad... So here's Abu and Kady... A very happy looking Abu.... Kept psychoing me into crying... Sobsobsob... My original plan was to come back for the weekend but me mom say CANNOT (yes... I'm still very much scared of my mom). Also Abu say 'GO SHOPPING' (wtf... first time ever diud!!! usually he roll his eyes everytime I bring up the 'S' word). Johana say 'nanti tengah-tengah shopping air mata mengalir la pulak..' Baldiful betul la Jo! It's been long since I last went to Singapore. So not very familliar with the shopping place (ask me about Tokyo, I tell you what train to take...) Anyways... Being me, very kiasu and all, che

Taken with my new S500i phone... Baju sponsored by uncles and Toks in Shah Alam...

Kady @ 3 months

She now prefers to suck her hands (both hand sometimes at the same time) than her soother. She successfully turned over on her own once. Most of the time, her bapak will give her a hand. Cannot fit into most of her 0-3 months baju anymore. Smile, laugh, talks a lot (people blame me for this... Hey! I'm very docile okay?!). No longer wears mitten or booties or socks. Likes to blow 'bubbles' with her air liur...

Cherng Pei Hsiang is ?? years old today!!!

TO MY EVIL TWIN/NOT-SO-BETTER HALF; HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO CAAAAAAAAAAAAAATTTTTTTTTTTTTT, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ARE YOU ELITE ENOUGH?

So guess what I did today? No one in their right mind would ever believe it. My sister and I went to SEE people audition for our own version of America's Next top Model. See the poster on the right? Yes, we went there to support Farah (jaga kau! berdosa kita suma kasi ketawa urang2 yang audition tu! hahahahah!!!). Nope, Farah is NOT one of the hopeful contestant but she's one of the judges. How cool is that? I get to sit right on the sideline and laugh because I don't have to feel guilty laughing at people because she is one of the judges!!! The audition was at Bistro De Paris (right in front of KLCC). There were 3 other profesional judges. And 100+ turned up to audition. Some of them were okay but some were bad. Here are advices for those hopefuls based on my 1 hour observation: Thou shall not come if thou are short - There were specific height guidelines but it seems few people miss calculated their own inches... Thou shall not come if thou are shy - Why la bother to co

1995 was a good year!

If you are one of my classmates/dormmates, you'll remember this book. It was my journal back in our final year in school. I took (ripped the pictures off) from the National Geographic Magazine in our library. Lucky I never get caught by Kak Zainon. Here's some of the journal entries that might be interesting: Notice the date? According to the journal, on 2nd Aug 1995, we took pictures for Saujana. I'm guessing we don't have classes and started berpeleseran everywhere. I think me and Zizie tried to include our face in all of the club pictures... Even the ones that we don't belong to... Heeheehee... A piece from our desk wrapper thingy. And also Elynor's address... Hahahaha! Mummy-O, if you have a stalker, this post is a good place for them... Got your address and phone number (if it never change la)... This is my FAVOURITE part of the journal. As per my prior post, I collect quotes and stuff. These are some taken from other school yearbooks, seminars...etc... Es
