I'm moving out...

Dear friends, It's been almost a year since I've dedicated my hours to the site. It's time for me to explore other hosts to learn more on blogging. You can find ALL of my posts here in the other site as well. It's the same title, with mostly the same stuff... So go on... Check it out at http://www.naziahnawawie.wordpress.com/ ... See you guys there! xxx; Naziah Nawawie

Lazy@Work

Yet another attempt to write fiction... Hopefully a hollywood scriptwriter/producer/director stumbles upon it and wants to make a movie... Hehehehhehehe.... Checkout http://naziah.bloggerteam.com/ ... I'll try my best to update it everyday... Remember, it's more of a fiction than anything that is related to my personal life... :-p

Something wrong with my settings

The blog is corrupted! I have no dates, or time, and the comments link is below the title... WHAT'S WRONG?!!!!! I was just trying to change the look but not working out so well... Hopefully it will revert back to normal soon...

I've got Monday Blues...

Let's start the day with a big fat SIGH ... The weather is soooooooo good for sleeping in until at least 10 am! I've been saying this but mother nature has got SOMETHING against me! When it's my off days, it will be so hot that by 8am, I have to roll UNDER my bed to get less sunlight!!!! Sigh... So I've decided... Today, I'm just gonna be lazy@work ... I leave you with my favourite comic strip:

I kena tagged again...

More, Esah! I want more!!!!! p/s: I tag Nina, Ly-D, Mummy-O, Shanky, Ida Z, Widie... And also Cat (you think I will let you go aaa?!) 1. Were you smiling when you woke up this morning? Nope... I tot I was gonna be late for work. And then I remembered that I'm working from home today. Yes... I AM DOING MY REPORTS! And NO, I'm not watching any Korean drama or That 70's Show... Too much calculations to do! 2. When was the last time you met someone new? Open house(s) last week... A lot of Abu's colleagues from SATO... One kakak made this delicious Laksa! And I don't really enjoy laksa but hers was excellent! 3. When did you last eat pizza? Bulan puasa. I make my own pizza. Not that hard... Just buy the pre-made crust, put tomato paste, cheese, and chili tuna, and mayounise... Bake for 20 mins or so... 4. Do you drink beer? No 5. Do you wash your own clothes? No... I have an excellent maid who does it for me... I enjoy putting the clothes into the washing machine and han

What do I do for a living?

I get this question a lot! I think most of my friends (outside office circle) don't know where I'm working and what is it that I'm doing. Not that I'm not proud of the company, but I never really talk about ofis stuff with my friends or families. So, what exactly am I doing? First and foremost, I work with AMERICAN EXPRESS INTERNATIONAL based in Menara Weld. The reason why it's called Amex International is because the Malaysia bit of it has been taken over by Maybank. So whatever we have in Menara Weld, is all overseas based services. My job? I'm a Quality Analyst. I do quality audit for our Credit Department Singapore. Yes... The team is based Singapore and I'm in KL. Yes... It is possible. Everything is possible now. Thanks to technical advances... What do I do? I listen to calls, check it if it's up to standard, check the procedures and update, and give feedback when necessary. I actually just started this job in August. I was in a different departmen

Driving Miss Kady

Coincedently even her pacifier is pink! I did not, I repeat, I DID NOT plan the outfit (and NO! I'm not a big fan of the kaler). People just love giving me pink stuff because I look good with it... Heheheheh...

The one with the 90's

I like this type of topic... Reminiscing about the happer times when I don't have to earn the money to live... Sigh... Just some of my favourite stuff in the 90's: "My name is Inigo Montoya... You killed my father... Prepare to die..." - an excerpt from the movie; The Princess Bride. Cary Elwes was one of the sexiest and funniest actor at that time. Another movie that he acted in was Robin Hood, Prince of Tights. F-U-N-N-Y! Wet, Wet, Wet was another group that I like (besides NKOTB). If you are not familiar with them, their songs includes Love is all around, Julia says, Goodnight girl, and my favourite song, How long. Fox Mulder was the 'it' guy back then. I mean, how can you not love him?! He's funny, he's cute, he likes UFOs (err... some might find that appealing...)... I dunno why they never continue Asia Bagus. Najip Ali is the koolest VJ ever! He's the pioneer of all VJs! An excellent show and the contestants were good (unlike some of the con

A part of me died today...

He died at approximately 11.30am today... I'm too attached to him... Had him for 5 years... He was dying in pain, right in front of my eyes and died beside me when I was holding him down. I know some will understand, and some will laugh, but he's one of the love of my life... Jojo, I will think of you all the time!

The one with the organizational chart

I took this from Cat's blog. This is excellent! Not only we finally decide on our roles in the club, Cat also just wasted her time doing something useless (which is the motto of our club). Janice, if you are reading, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! This is our birthday gift for you... Cat, THIS is why we are friends... Brilliant man! p/s: fire drill went fine. I got excited when I saw the superbike the Bomba got... Cun siut!!!

The one with her smiling picture

A rare one with she smiling and me not screwing up the picture... Nowadays, when she sleeps, she looks like my mother. When she gets angry and menjeling, she looks like me. When she smiles like this she looks like Abu.

The one with the fire drill

I dunno what went wrong *coughBENJAMINcough* , but I'm a warden for my floor @ the ofis. Checkout the 'Bob-the-builder' hat. Today we'll be having a fire drill for the whole building with Bomba. Kewl huh?! I've never participated in a fire drill (school not included) before. every single time, I'll be exempted because some of us have to stay back and answer the calls! So this will be my first time ever, going down 18 floor of steps... Not that I'm unreliable but I was thinking, if in case of real fire, will I be calm and do as what I'm supposed to or will the survival instinct kicks in and I run for my own life and leave my floor behind?! Hmmm... For the time being, the only part that I'm liking about this whole fire drill is that I get to wear the hat! p/s: The hat reminds me of Village People 'YMCA' video clip as well.... Heh...

The one with the right question...

Which is better: Are you married? OR Do you have kids? Hypothetical situation: You are in a conversation with someone you just meet. And you want to know whether she is married. How would you ask the question without getting her to think 'Do I look like I'm married?' or 'Do I look like I'm old enough to have kids?'. Men might not care but ladies (not all... SOME only) will feel taken aback by the question. This actually happened to me. So the conversation went like this: Me: Do you have any of your own (I was @ the kids boutique Pepe) Lady: Why? Do I look like I'm married (Duh! She was in a kids boutique!) Me: You seem to have a very good taste with girl clothings (liar, liar, pants on fire!) Me: Oh! Yes. I have 2 nieces. But no, I'm not married yet (aaaa! nieces!) So embarassing! Fortunately, I'm also a good liar. :-p

The one with the stolen meme

Stolen from Esah , as usual... Last person who wrote you a testimonial? In friendster, from Farah, saying that my kid is so cute. Look at the mommy, of course la the kid will come out cute! Last movie watched? Err... Can't remember... Most probably Transformers with Fikri and Abu back in KK. What do people notice first about you? The halo on my head, the bright light coming out from me... It's just so calming! Do you like peanut butter? Nope. Not everyday... Sometimes.. Rarely.. Err... Nope... Too sticky. Do you read comic books? Yes. Rose is Rose, Calvin & Hobbes, Archie... I have the complete set of Rose is Rose. Also Calvin & Hobbes. I love comic books!!! What's your favorite restaurant? This is a tie between Marche and the Pancake Haus @ The Curve. It's the only 2 places where we held our annual loser meeting. (btw, Cat & Marina, when's the next meeting?) Do you have enemies? Does George Bush have enemies? Do you hate anyone? How do I hate thee? Let

The one with the Aidilfitri

As usual, here's my photo journal of our Raya trip... Driving balik kampung... Our fifth raya together... Her first raya... Checkout the gelang y'all! My mom got it for her. She only wore it for like 30 mins before she realized there's something on her hand and pulled the thing off. Koleksi duit raya Khadeeja. On the way to Keratong to visit my in-laws families... Look! We have the same baju kurung! I once vow NEVER to have the same baju as my kids BUT it's just too cute to resist. Kecik2 macam ni cute la ek? Besar sikit I doubt she'd want to wear same baju as me. It's proven that I have very weird sense of style (I wear my red crocs with 6 jitbitz to ofis...) Milk maid... We went to visit Pakcik Hassan in Pekan. Pakcik Hassan is my aunties (Kak Norma and Kak Pidah's guardian when they were studying in MRSM). Very old dude... Look at the ulat next to him. Cannot stay still la the little girl. Before going back, we stopped by Kak Nor's new place (

The one with all the dialogues

I'm an avid TV sitcom viewer since the days of Silver Spoon. A lot of good comedies back then. Perfect Stranger, Murphy Brown, Full House, Family Ties, Ferris Bueller... etc... Then we have the recent ones like Friends, Everybody Loves Raymond, Still Standing... Some have incredible dialogues that most of us could connect with. And some you just can't get them out of your head. Here's a few of my favourite lines; From 2 guys and a girl:- Pete: Berg, I'm just not cut out to be a good person. Berg: I know. That's why the Lord gave us good looks. ------------------------------------------------------ Ashley: What am I doing here? Sharon: According to the Bible, to balance out "good." ------------------------------------------------------ Pete: Ashley, if you're here, who's running hell? From Gilmore Girls:- Luke: Rory's not here yet. Lorelai: Then you'll have to entertain me until she arrives. Okay Burger boy, dance. Luke: Will you ma

The one with what other people are saying in their blogs...

Since I have nothing interesting to talk about, let's discuss what other's are saying in their blogs. But first and foremost, I'm 100% confident that Kady can drive. This morning, she was 'driving' and in the middle of it, she grabbed the gear and looked at me. I'm pretty sure she wanted to move the stick but the father told her, "belum boleh driving lagi... you belum ada lesen...". Cat says: Watched RE already (Resident Evil) Hmm... I'm not much of a fan. I kno Janice lurves the movie. Zombies getting blast to pieces is not my type of story. But Milla Jovovich rawks! She kicks zombies ass in RE. This movie is like a dream come true for boys (guns, Milla's endless legs, zombies...). Maybe I'll get the DVD... See how my mood progress. If I feel like blasting somebody's head off, I'll watch it then. Widie says: Hepi Besdei Zana!! She's 2 years old this year. So fast!!!! I remember visiting her when she was 2 days old (I think...

R.I.P...

I never knew Anne Ho that well but she was one of the nicest, most soft-spoken person in the ofis. Today, she passed away due to a long battle with cancer. My condolence to her family...

Kady @ 5 months

More drools Could sit but will fall (must have adult supervision) Likes mashed potato and carrot a lot! Drink less milk Tarik rambut/tudung/necklace/bracelet/jam/ekor kucing Eat biskut... As of this morning, she can drive already... heh... Time flies so fast... Too fast... Already 5 months...

Balik KK

I'm too lazy to write anything... Here's a picture journal of our brief trip back to KK. Flight was 2 1/2 hours. Miss Cranky-pants slept for 30 minutes and cried the other 2 hours! I lost her pacifier when the plane took off, hence, the wailing and bawling scene for 2 hours... The flight back from KK was much better. She slept thru the whole flight and only bangun when we were about the touchdown. Overall, the trip back was nice. I kno everyone back home misses her too much. We didn't have much problem as she was okay with everyone... Sigh... I miss home... We'll be back for a much longer period in December. Can't wait! Bapak & anak waiting for plane back to KK. Can you spot me? Catty the cat playing hide & seek in our garden @ home. Comel aaaa? The Elmo she's holding is Kady's. She wanted it but I told her I'll buy her new Elmo. End up I lupa nak beli and went back without getting one for her. Kady with Grandma @ Delifrance Wawasan Square. I l

Top 5 TV Crushes

I'm pretty sure MOST of us suffered this during our NKOTB/KRU/4U2C years in school or college. Lemme list out mine: Joey Lawrence in Blossom - Remember Blossom? Joey Lawrence was really, really hot back then. I just saw his pictures a few days ago and I think he still looks good. Fred Savage in The Wonder Years - He was cute as a button. I even wrote a fan mail to him and got a postcard back from him!!!!!!!!!! Neil Patrick Harris in Doogie Howser - I dreamt of marrying him at the age of 15... I really wanted to be Mrs Doogie Howser MD at the age of 15. Mark Paul Gosselaar in Saved by The Bell - I was really into Saved by The Bell. It's like me and Supernatural now. I still have his poster in one of my old school book. Noah Wyle in ER - This was my biggest crush ever (dulu la...). I don't even follow ER that much but he was just too cute. SIGH.... Damn! Now I have to go to the DVD place and check if they have Doogie Howser...

Motherhood... The story goes on...

You can't really put a price on this type of experiences... Up to this point, yes, it is tiring. And yes, it gets to your head sometimes (all the tiredness + lack of sleep) but anger and frustation seems to disappear when you see your child sleeping. That is SO not fair! Sigh... How la am I going to discipline my kid if everytime she sleeps I seem to forget all my anger and stuff... To the ones like me: Life is unfair. But was it ever fair to OUR 'foremothers' too? But again, it's all worth it! To the ones who are trying: Never stop praying. Never stop trying. Don't ever be angry at God for not giving. Acceptance is the key to everything. To the ones who are not bothered yet: Love your moms! They've been thru a LOT! (especially if you are Boo's mom (you must've been one cheeky girl), Shanky's mom (vainness is so hard to tolerate! hehehhe...), Cat's mom (no need to say... hell hath no word for her experience)...

Five Factor Personality

Your Five Factor Personality Profile Extroversion: You have medium extroversion. You're not the life of the party, but you do show up for the party. Sometimes you are full of energy and open to new social experiences. But you also need to hibernate and enjoy your "down time." Conscientiousness: You have medium conscientiousness. You're generally good at balancing work and play. When you need to buckle down, you can usually get tasks done. But you've been known to goof off when you know you can get away with it. Agreeableness: You have low agreeableness. Your self interest comes first, and others come later, if at all. In general, you feel that people are not to be trusted. And you're skeptical that anyone else really feels differently. Neuroticism: You have low neuroticism. You are very emotionally stable and mentally together. Only the greatest setbacks upset you, and you bounce back quickly. Overall, you are typically calm and relaxed - making others feel se

How Vain Are You?

You Are 45% Vain You're a little vain, but more than anything you have a healthy amount of confidence. Thinking the world of yourself is great. Just don't think less of those who aren't as pretty as you! How Vain Are You?

Imelda Marcos in the making

These are only SOME of her shoes... But we can't stop buying. I kno she might only wear them once but, I love 'em shoes!!!! My sister kept buying and buying and buying... I think we all need disciplines when it comes to baby stuff!

I have measles!

Yeap... Measles... At 29... Sigh... Had to move Kady to my sister's place... Sigh... Very itchy... I'm so close to scratching myself with a fork!

For Cat... I tag you!

1.If you could have plastic surgery, what would you have done? Liposuction and tummy tuck... So I can fit in size 25 jeans... I'll be smaller than ants! 2.Do you have a completely irrational fear? Where do I even begin on this?! I think it's just human nature to think too much. Whenever Abu goes travelling, I'll be having this nightmares about plane jatuh (nauzibillah). When I go travelling without him, I'll be having nightmares about him getting abducted (sometimes by aliens too... :-p). 3.Are you a pyromaniac? No... Not very fond of fire... 4.Do you have too many love interests? Again, where do I even begin on this?!!!!! I even have a crush on 2 different characters played by one actor!!!!! 5. Do you know anyone famous? Catherine... She's the devil in disguise... 6.What do you carry with you at all times? Mobile, ipod, wallet, planner. 7.What do you miss most about being little? Climbing trees, not having to pay bills, eat anything and everything without worrying

What is the plural for 'DODO'?

This is all Cat's fault... I spend 20 minutes of my morning trying to find the plural form for the word 'DODO'... To those who don't kno, dodo is a large flightless bird with a hooked beak . And the answer to our question is; we can use either dodos or dodoes!

T'was a beautiful wedding... The reception...
